At ECOT, education is as fun and engaging outside the virtual classroom as it is inside. Field trips are a great chance for students to meet and interact with other ECOT students from similar grade levels, plus parents are invited to attend and participate.
 
ECOT offers school-wide social events, ECOT Days at Ohio attractions, Family Night events, clubs, dances including the junior and senior prom in May, a graduation ceremony in June and grade-level appropriate class field trip opportunities for its families.
 
All events are designed to be fun and provide the opportunity to meet other ECOT students and parents in your area!

See and hear the only metal whistle manufactured in the United States (used by police, referees, coaches etc.)These "American Classics" are the loudest whistles in the world. Mad River Mountain Tubing Event-Session One

Join us as we Students explore the museum dedicated to the works of the “World’s Master Carver”, Ernest ‘Mooney’ Warther. The Warther Collection is unlike any other in the world. The Warther Museum showcases sixty-four of Ernest Warther's ebony, ivory, and walnut hand-carved masterpieces. In addition to his carvings, the collection contains his wife, Frieda's 73,000 piece button collection, Swiss-style gardens, and 5,500 piece Native American arrowhead collection.

The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is a museum in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio based on the history of the Underground Railroad. The Center also pays tribute to all efforts to "abolish human enslavement and secure freedom for all people.

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo event

Enjoy an afternoon at the Cleveland Metro Park Zoo with fellow ECOT families. Favorite exhibits include the African elephants, the "Wolf Wilderness" exhibit, and the latest addition, the "Australian Adventure." The Zoo is a living classroom with “bio facts” and/or live animals which provide an up close, hands-on experience that will be both enjoyable and long remembered.

The Farm at Walnut Creek event

The Farm at Walnut Creek spreads over 120 acres of rolling hills in eastern Holmes County Ohio. The Farm is home to over 500 animals including dozens of exotics such as giraffes, deer, elk, camels, llamas and kangaroos. While visiting the farm, students can hand feed these animals from horse drawn wagons.
