All applicants must be residents of the state of Ohio to be considered eligible for employment with ECOT.

Applicants applying for an educator, principal, school counselor or school psychologist position must also currently hold a valid state of Ohio license in the area for which they are applying from the Ohio Department of Education (subsitute licensure does not meet this requirement).

TEACHERS ONLY: When applying for a position, please include your subject area of certification/license and expiration date in the subject line.

ECOT hires only highly qualified teaching candidates.

All Teaching Applicants Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree;

Valid Ohio teaching license in subject/grade level (Every ECOT teacher is highly qualified);

At least 512 kb/s broadband connection (this must be in both directions; up and down);

Proficiency in basic computer applications including e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

Successful completion of criminal background check and TB skin test;

Valid driver’s license.

Teachers must work from Ohio home residence.

Travel required, including overnight stays for development.
